JBL launches VTX A6 line array element and B15 subwoofer

Harman Professional Solutions has announced the launch of the VTX A6 passive line array and B15 arrayable subwoofer.

Designed for small to medium-size touring and fixed installations, the VTX A6 is a dual 6.5-in passive line array element with a tree-in annular diaphragm compression driver, featuring JBL’s radiation boundary integrator and differential drive dual-voicecoil, dual-magnet woofer.

The loudspeaker features a low-frequency extension to 67 Hz and 134 dB max SPL.

The B15 subwoofer series comprises two models, the B15 and B15G, designed without rigging hardware for ground-stacked applications.

The B15 supports cardioid array configurations and features the same cabinet width and suspension hardware as the VTX A6 loudspeaker, allowing both products to be used together in flown or ground-stacked configurations.

The subwoofer includes JBL’s SlipStream double-flared exponential ports and differential drive dual-voicecoil design based on JBL’s 2285H 15-in woofer.

Both units are IP55-rated and feature enclosures built from birch plywood with black Duraflex finish, as well as powder-coated, stainless steel grilles with acoustically transparent cloth backing.
